Confused about life asked: I am currently on a campaign for self-improvement. A lot of aspects are involved. One aspect I am working on is improving my academic self. I currently work about 50 hours a week, and I am not sure if I will be able to cut down on hours. Currently, I am employed as a para-professional, with a promise of promotion to professional status once I receive a related bachelor’s degree.
I graduated with a BS in biological sciences and I am wanting to expand upon that in the future.
Currently, I am focusing on finishing engineering. The problem is my work schedule and how it doesn’t fit into the regional engineering school’s marketing plan. I am a non-traditional student. They want overacheivers, and are trying to accomplish this by having those who are driven to succeed “influence” the others. For example, many engineering students live together, separate from the rest of the university. This is now expected and required. Is there any chance I can pursue distance education for BS?
Ideally, the program needs to insure that I can take the engineering licensure exams. I would open to ANY way to accomplish my degree ASAP while taking care of the other obligations in my life.
The main issue is that classes are scheduled all over the place, meaning it is very hard to get what I need. I can provide more details if need be.
I have completed general education and engineering intro courses. It is completing the upper division classes that is the problem.
What I need to find is how I can get state university rates for a distance degree for a bachelor’s of engineering, which I cannot find.

Writers like Robin Sharma, Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Napoleon Hill, Norman Vincent Peale and others are a standing testimony to this fact. Don’t you agree?

mrfrudd2006 asked:
After seeing Larry King’s show last night on “The Secret” I am interested in what other people have read regarding self improvement for gaining more success and life fulfillment. The Secret to me seems to be repetitive as far as other self help methods plus “Law of Attraction” principles written about from everyone Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Norman V Peal, The Magic of Believing and of course the Bible is filled with “ask and ye shall receive.” Of course things aren’t always that simple for everyone, especially that people’s mind sets are unique and what works for one doesn’t necessarily work beneficially to others. There are so many self help method books and DVD’s out there now, so I would like to see what you guys have used that made real life changing breakthroughs and helped improve your finances, relationships, goals, jobs, whatever
