Take Time When Hiring Your Keynote Speaker

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

Keynote Speaker are there to help you to understand various things about life. They help you to succeed and they know how to spur you on. Sometimes in life we all need a little shove in the right direction and a keynote speaker knows that. They have the knowledge and the right words to help us realize our potential. So could you benefit from hiring a keynote speaker?

Pushing You to Make the Most of Your Life

Often in life we tend to allow ourselves to settle for second best. We are too weak to understand that we need to force ourselves into the life that we should be leading. It is so much easier to sit back and struggle on regardless; but if you live your life that way forever, you will seriously be missing out.

Imagine a life where you don’t try for things. By not trying you will not succeed and by not succeeding you will not feel true happiness or satisfaction. Striving for something in life can keep us going and the fulfilment which comes with it is something worth struggling for.

A Motivational Speaker can help you to see that if you want to be truly happy, you will have to put the effort in. They will help you to see just where you are going wrong and they will encourage you to fight for what you want. Do you want to be treated more fairly? Do you want to be a better leader? Whatever it is that you want to improve; a keynote speaker can help you.

Providing You with Inspiration

If you manage to find the right keynote speaker for you they will be able to inspire you not only when they work with you, but for years and years afterwards. Their words will stick in your mind and they will push you to achieve everything that you want to. That is what a true keynote speaker can do which is what makes it all the more worth it.

They will fully do their research and see what it is that you need. As with all motivational speakers, a keynote speaker will know your individual needs. They will address your problems and come up with realistic solutions. They do it in such a way that you know that they can help you to change your life. However you have to remember that while they can change your life, you are the only person who can truly make any changes. You are the one who has the power to create your own life path. So, by all means hire a keynote speaker to help you, but do not rely completely on them; as it is you who holds the key to your own future.

Overall Inspirational Speaker are there to help. Spend time researching different ones in your area in order to find the right speaker for you and then you will be able to start changing your life. Remember motivation and inspirations are strong tools which can help you to live the life that you deserve so use them wisely.

Women Self Esteem And Self Confidence

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

Self esteem for a woman is extremely important, especially if she has a family. When she has low self esteem, it is often magnified as she tries to meet the demands made of her by her family, her job and other responsibilities. Often, she doesn’t take the time for herself that she needs in order to stay happy in her world. The result is that she can lose confidence in herself, which can cause her job and her family to suffer.

Here are some tips to help low self esteem for a woman wanting to improve her self confidence.Self esteem is a core identity issue, check out some relevant topic on self esteem and women

Challenge the negative messages of your inner voice:

By learning to hear and modify your thinking, you will be surprised how much this will help low self esteem issues.

Practice Self-Nurturing

As a woman with an active family, you likely don’t pay enough attention to yourself. You deprive yourself of some of that TLC that you are constantly giving away. The secret to gaining self esteem for a woman like you is to take time for yourself. This can include: get enough sleep, get regular exercise, and eat nutritious meals regularly. Don’t be afraid to put yourself first sometimes.

Seek Support from Friends, Family and Others

Sometimes we are so busy helping and supporting others, we forget about ourselves. Don’t be afraid to ask for a hug, or an opportunity to sit down and talk. Talking over problems and feelings with people you trust can be extremely beneficial. It has proven to lower the frustrations, improve feelings of self worth and help low self esteem.

Our self-esteem develops and evolves throughout our lives as we build an image of ourselves through our experiences with different people and activities. Experiences during our childhood play a particularly large role in the shaping of our basic self-esteem. When we were growing up, our successes (and failures) and how we were treated by the members of our immediate family, by our teachers, coaches, religious authorities, and by our peers, all contributed to the creation of our basic self-esteem.-Simply click here to know about self esteem activities

Employee Commitment And How It Can Build Profitability

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

Employee motivation is the level of energy, commitment, and creativity that a company’s workers apply to their jobs. In the increasingly competitive business environment of recent years, finding ways to motivate employees has become a pressing concern for many managers.

Researchers have fond that employee commitment is highest during the first few days or weeks on the job. That’s when employees are most concerned about doing things right, pleasing his or her manager, and showing they are willing to go the extra mile.

Job factors cited as causing dissatisfaction are supervision, working conditions, interpersonal relationships, pay, job security, and company policies and administration. These factors reduce dissatisfaction when they are present to an acceptable degree.

Job enlargement or enrichment, can provide opportunities to make work more interesting by increasing the number and variety of activities performed, and job enrichment can also make work more interesting and provide opportunities for increased pay and responsibility. Secondments through out the business, improved social networks. mentoring and standing-in for colleagues on leave are suggested methods.

Job Match is another idea to provide the key to employee motivation and increased employee morale, but fail to introduce obvious routes to self improvement by any from of management and most businesses will be endangered. Any management process which seeks always to reduce staff roles to minimalistic job functions, and over computerized routine, and splits down each job role into simplified and more closely defined roles usually fails for this reason.

Organizations desiring to improve employee motivation need a system in place that consistently rewards employee achievements. I’m always surprised how few organizations have such a system. Organizations that wait for classroom instruction are on the trailing edge of technology.

Employee incentives are a good way of showing recognition to your workforce and they can help to keep workers motivated. In giving out employee rewards, you?re also demonstrating the types of behaviour, actions and performance that the company values most highly.

Managers must realize that “high staff turnover can prove costly, particularly to small businesses” (Oliver 1998), and a lack of motivation is a big staff loss and turnover creator.

What creates motivated, contributing people? Employees have to motivate and empower themselves. However, you can set up an environment where they best motivate and empower themselves.

Employee incentive programs work because they offer diverse rewards that meet the needs of the company as a whole.

Employee behavior is quite often a reflection of the guidance they receive from their superiors. So if managers are unmotivated, employees will be unmotivated. Employee turnover at most financial service companies is greater than 25 percent. It’s only 10 to 15 percent at the most motivational people companies, and that removes a huge burden on recruitment and training. Which itself builds into a company which can actually afford to be nicer to its employees. A virtuous circle really is possible within good companies in this way.

Employees who on average work longer in an organization are generally more capable to answer the questions of customers which builds better customer loyalty. Employees who understand the business, complain less, are more satisfied, and are more motivated.

Clear decision making should be coupled with a collaborative, collegiate approach, and a clear encouragement program. This entails taking people into your confidence and explicitly and openly valuing their contributions. Clearly, there is a link between core values and emotional commitment. Being clear about values will help to sustain someone through periods of anxiety or stress.

Your Unbiased Guidelines to Understanding Self Improvement and Self Esteem

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

BUILD YOUR SELF ESTEEM, A STARTER GUIDE TO SELF IMPROVEMENT

So how do you stay calm, composed and maintain self esteem in a tough environment? Here are some tips you may to consider as a starter guide to self improvement.

Imagine yourself as a Dart Board. Everything and everyone else around you may become Dart Pins, at one point or another. These dart pins will destroy your self esteem and pull you down in ways you won’t even remember. Don’t let them destroy you, or get the best of you. So which dart pins should you avoid?

Negative Work Environment

Beware of “dog eat dog” theory where everyone else is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. No one will appreciate your contributions even if you miss lunch and dinner, and stay up late. Most of the time you get to work too much without getting help from people concerned. Stay out of this, it will ruin your self esteem. Be healthy enough to compete, but in a healthy competition that is.

Other People’s Behavior

Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders, patronizers, sluffers… all these kinds of people will pose bad vibes for your self esteem, as well as to your self improvement scheme.

Changing Environment

You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge our paradigms. It tests our flexibility, adaptability and alters the way we think. Changes will make life difficult for awhile, it may cause stress but it will help us find ways to improve our selves. Change will be there forever, we must be susceptible to it.

Past Experience

It’s okay to cry and say “ouch!” when we experience pain. But don’t let pain transform itself into fear. It might grab you by the tail and swing you around. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.

Negative World View

Look at what you’re looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.

Determination Theory

The way you are and your behavioral traits is said to be a mixed end product of your inherited traits (genetics), your upbringing (psychic), and your environmental surroundings such as your spouse, the company, the economy or your circle of friends. You have your own identity. If your father is a failure, it doesn’t mean you have to be a failure too. Learn from other people’s experience, so you’ll never have to encounter the same mistakes.

Sometimes, you may want to wonder if some people are born leaders or positive thinkers. NO. Being positive, and staying positive is a choice. Building self esteem and drawing lines for self improvement is a choice, not a rule or a talent. God wouldn’t come down from heaven and tell you – “George, you may now have the permission to build self esteem and improve your self.”

In life, its hard to stay tough specially when things and people around you keep pulling you down. When we get to the battle field, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armors to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. The kind of change which comes from within. Voluntarily. Armor or Self Change changes 3 things: our attitude, our behavior and our way of thinking.

Building self esteem will eventually lead to self improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. Its like a flame that should gradually spread like a brush fire from inside and out. When we develop self esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self esteem brings about self improvement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start putting up the building blocks of self esteem? Be positive. Be contented and happy. Be appreciative. Never miss an opportunity to compliment. A positive way of living will help you build self esteem, your starter guide to self improvement.

Place to Read the Insightful Knowledge About Self Development Life

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

ACQUIRE POWER THROUGH SELF DEVELOPMENT.

It is the natural right of every human being to be happy to escape all the miseries of life. Happiness is the normal condition, as natural as the landscapes and the seasons. It is unnatural to suffer and it is only because of our ignorance that we do suffer. Happiness is the product of wisdom. To attain perfect wisdom, to comprehend fully the purpose of life, to realize completely the relationship of human beings to each other, is to put an end to all suffering, to escape every ill and evil that afflicts us.

Why do we suffer in life? Because in the scheme of nature we are being forced forward in evolution and we lack the spiritual illumination that alone can light the way and enable us to move safely among the obstacles that lie before us. Usually we do not even see or suspect the presence of trouble until it suddenly leaps upon us like a concealed tiger. One day our family circle is complete and happy.

Today we have a friend. Tomorrow he will be an enemy and we do not know why. A little while ago we had wealth and all material luxuries. There was a sudden change and now we have only poverty and misery and yet we seek in vain for a reason why this should be. There was a time when we had health and strength; but they have both departed and no trace of a reason appears.

We most earnestly desire to avoid them but we never see them until they strike us, until in the darkness of our ignorance we blunder upon them. The thing we lack is the spiritual illumination that will enable us to look far and wide, finding the hidden causes of human suffering and revealing the method by which they may be avoided; and if we can but reach illumination the evolutionary journey can be made both comfortably and swiftly.

It is as though we must pass through a long, dark room filled with furniture promiscuously scattered about. In the darkness our progress would be slow and painful and our bruises many. But if we could press a button that would turn on the electric light we could then make the same journey quickly and with perfect safety and comfort.

The old method of education was to store the mind with as many facts, or supposed facts, as could be accumulated and to give a certain exterior polish to the personality. The theory was that when a man was born he was a completed human being and that all that could be done for him was to load him up with information that would be used with more or less skill.

The theosophical idea is that the physical man, and all that constitutes his life in the physical world, is but a very partial expression of the self; that in the ego of each there is practically unlimited power and wisdom; that these may be brought through into expression in the physical world as the physical body and its invisible counterparts, which together constitute the complex vehicle of the ego’s manifestation, are evolved and adapted to the purpose; and that in exact proportion that conscious effort is given to such self-development will spiritual illumination be achieved and wisdom attained. Thus the light that leads to happiness is kindled from within and the evolutionary journey that all are making may be robbed of its suffering.

Why does death bring misery? Chiefly because it separates us from those we love. The only other reason why death brings grief or fear is because we do not understand it and comprehend the part it plays in human evolution. But the moment our ignorance gives way to comprehension such fear vanishes and a serene happiness takes its place.

Why do we have enemies from whose words or acts we suffer? Because in our limited physical consciousness we do not perceive the unity of all life and realize that our wrong thinking and doing must react upon us through other people a situation from which there is no possible escape except through ceasing to think evil and then patiently awaiting the time when the causes we have already generated are fully exhausted. When spiritual illumination comes, and we no longer stumble in the night of ignorance, the last enemy will disappear and we shall make no more forever.

Why do people suffer from poverty and disease? Only because of our blundering ignorance that makes their existence possible for us, and because we do not comprehend their meaning and their lessons, nor know the attitude to assume toward them. Had we but the wisdom to understand why they come to people, why they are necessary factors in their evolution, they would trouble us no longer. When nature’s lesson is fully learned these mute teachers will vanish.

And so it is with all forms of suffering we experience. They are at once reactions from our ignorant blunderings and instructors that point out the better way. When we have comprehended the lessons they teach they are no longer necessary and disappear. It is not by the outward acquirement of facts that men become wise and great.

7 Techniques To Motivate Your Team Members

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

You can motivate your team members externally or internally. External motivation relates to the working environment. However, internal motivation relates the interests, aptitudes and dreams of your team members. Here you shall find seven critical motivational techniques to get the best out of your subordinates.

1- Reward and Punishment

It is the most popular technique being used by the managers. It mobilizes motivational energies in the team players. The reward can be in the form of special promotions, raises or words. However, excessive use of this tool may create jealousy amongst your subordinates to disturb the working environment.

Fear of punishment also plays an important role. You need to be careful here too. A wrong punishment at a wrong time may backfire. Just create a balance. Visit a Motivational Speaker

2- Setting of Goals

Setting of well-defined goals helps your team members to do their best. Set meaningful and justified deadlines to get the project finished within time. You need to work at two levels. First, set your objective. Second, divide that objective into goals and sub-goals.

3- Advisory Techniques

No one is perfect. Being a team leader you must always be ready to offer advice when your team members face some stumbling block in their performance. Encourage them to remove their weaknesses and continue what works for them.

4- Praise and Criticism

This motivational technique is similar to ‘reward and punishment’ technique. A word of praise or criticism shall have definite results upon your subordinates. However, like rewards and punishments, this technique should also be used carefully. Sometimes your team members will do better with criticism and other times they will stop working. Visit a Motivational Speaker

5- Success and Failure

To motivate your team members, you should analyze their successes in open and failures in your office. Most of the people like to continue doing what is working for them. Don’t try to change their style unless you find them failing to achieve what you desire of them.

6- Competition

It is the strongest motivational technique to get the best out of your subordinates. You can use this technique very effectively when combine with setting of efficient goals. Competitive circumstances shall help your team members to perform the best.

7- Interests of Team Members

Do you know what interests your subordinates? Just find out those interests and entrust them with tasks that they love to do. It will increase their efficiency on one hand and speed of the project on the other. Random allocation of tasks may not be too helpful to all of them. Visit a Motivational Speaker

Integrity Before Success!

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

If you are going to be successful on the internet or any home business as far as that is concerned, then, integrity must come before your financial success. Many people are financially successful on the internet, but some have forgotten the meaning of true success.

As Jim Rohn (One of the all time favorite motivational speakers) says, quite often, it is far more important of who you are becoming, then, what you are earning. Jim even goes so far as to say that you should work toward becoming a millionaire, not for the money, but because of who you will become in achieving the goal.

The stress is on becoming a better person. A person who has integrity. Integrity is being able to be counted on, to be depended upon, if you say that you are going to provide a service or product for a certain amount of money, then you do it. You are looking out for your customers, as well as yourself.

In most cases your reputation will precede you! You may think that no one is discovering your flawed business manners, but actually, the word is spreading and on the net, it spreads quite rapidly. Visit Keynote Speaker for more information

One of the universal laws of success is that financial success follows hard work with honesty. In other words, “help enough people get what they want and you will find that you receive what you want.” However, if you are just looking out for you, you are only hurting yourself in the long run. Wouldn’t the internet be so much better if we were all watching out for each other?

One important lesson I have learned when it comes to making a sale is that people buy from those whom they trust. If they trust you they will buy from you. If your integrity is guiding you as you make your presentation to others it will come across to your potential buyer. You are more likely to make that sell with your integrity guiding you, then, any other aspect in your presentation. Visit Motivational Speaker for more information

It does not matter how well you intellectually present your service or product, if they detect flaws in your character you might as well close up your brief case and go home.

Perhaps, even of a greater reward for being a man or women of integrity is that you will sleep better at night just knowing you did your best to sincerely help others achieve their dreams. What can be more rewarding, then, to help others reach their goals?

If you have children, perhaps, that would be the ultimate reason to permit integrity to lead you. Your children will have someone that they can be proud of and more importantly someone whom they can trust! Visit Speaker

Success Leaves A List Of Self Motivational Clues

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

When you decide to become truly self motivational you realise that attaining success is not a destination it is something within you. It is the self motivational attitude that you take to every facet of your life. Not just the major things but the every day simple things to. Success is not something you can reach out and grab onto, nail down then parade as some kind of trophy which some less than self motivational individuals have come to view it. Successful people don’t just attain success they live it on an ongoing basis. Many descriptions of success have it as a journey. However I am convinced it is more than a journey and is in actual fact a life style and indeed a self motivational life style choice.

Success always leaves clues, here is a list of a number of the success clues you should look out for:

1 Being focused on worthy goals
2 Self motivational enough to work towards them (not just looking for short cuts)
3 Perseverance is the self motivational watchword
4 Weighing up the need for big step change with incremental improvement
5 Striving for high standards but not weighed down in seeking perfection
6 Visualising the big picture while also focusing on the detail
7 Showing commitment to delivering on promises
8 Fundamentally aware that your goal is still there after the buffeting storms around you subside
9 Not surrendering control to others by getting uncontrollably angry
10 Holding the gains in success not sliding back into old behaviours
11 Assisting others, particularly less fortunate than yourself, set and achieve their goals
12 Establish alliances with those who will commit to helping you with your goals
13 Understanding that everyone has within them the resources to achieve their goals
14 Seeing abuse and hate from others as a gift you choose to refuse to accept from them
15 Do not acknowledge failure and see it really as a learning experience
16 Respect others and their definition of success even when you can’t agree with them
17 Living in the now and valuing every moment of every day
18 Being clear that success is a self motivational choice you make not one that is made for you
19 Seeing money as merely a scorecard to the wealth you create in the world not success itself
20 Seeing health as the great generator for a self motivational and successful life style

To be self motivational and live a success lifestyle you need to be a detective looking for clues. My list above is not meant to be comprehensive but merely a starting point to begin your quest. To get some further clues have a look at this self motivational booklist I compiled.

A Self Improvement Lesson: Why Average People Remain Average

Posted: under Self Help and Motivational.

If you do what you’re expected to do, don’t expect an outstanding result.

Study successful people and you’ll sure to discover one thing that many of them would have in common- they live by that words of “always do more than what is expected of you.”

It could be sleeping an hour less everyday to have more time to build your wealth or whatsoever.

Whether you are mowing people’s lawn or someone is mowing your lawn, when you are teaching a seminar or being a participant, when sharing your knowledge or giving advice to others, always do or give more than what people expect. Then they will flock around you, lining up to meet you and support you in whatever thing that you want to do next.

If you’re training to be a champion, don’t just train like an average player. Train more than you’re expected to train.

If you’re building a multi-level marketing business, increase the numbers of prospects you would like to meet everyday. If it used to be 10, now you would have at least 12. By just increasing your effort 20%, you’ll now get 60 new prospects a month. Now, that’s what I called exponential growth.

Trying to court a girl? I’m not surprise that you could be “competing” with five other guys for the same girl. And you can only win if you’re giving more than all of them (if everyone’s equal). I’m not saying giving more money or buying stuff- give love, time or whatever that she appreciates.

Whenever you are interacting with people or in a relationship, treat extremely well.

Whatever is expected of you in that relationship, be it with your girlfriend, wife/husband, business partner or client or your friend, always do or give more than what is expected of you in that relationship because that is the secret of making it a success.

Don’t be mistaken that it you need to give a whole lot more; you have to do just a little bit more than the rest. That’s it.

To do this, it’s not difficult. But most people are just too lazy to put in the effort. I’m one of them but I’ll always keep reminding myself this- winner takes all. There is no second place, my friend. I would rather strive with the extra effort to get #1 because the pay off is many times greater than #2.

Do you remember who the second best basketball player is? Nope. You can remember Michael Jordan because he’s #1. In fact, as far as I know, there’s no such place as the ‘the second best basketball player’.

Who’s the second fastest runner in the world? Who knows. I just know the #1.

Others have called this ‘more than expected attitude’ as ‘going for the extra mile’. Notice that they don’t say the extra 10 miles.

How come?

Because the average persons doesn’t bother to do more than what is expected of them and that’s the awful truth.

To most people, “always do more than what is expected of you” are mere words and they don’t put substance to it.

And guess what… successful people are never your average people.

To be generous and to treat others extremely well, you must come from the perspective of abundance thinking. Then only “always doing more than what is expected of you” will come easy and naturally.

So the next time you are with somebody, in a business negotiation, or just interacting with another person, ask how can I help you… without even expecting any return.

As the other saying goes, commonly heard in personal improvement — you have to give, in order to get. In fact, if you want to gather riches you have to be as generous as you can. Touch people’s lives profoundly in ways that they would never forget. Give it forward- help another and that person will help another. Always do more than what is expected of you. Do this and the reward will come in 10 folds or 100 folds when you are least expecting it.

Do you think you can do more than what you’re doing right now? Of course you can. The question is… DO YOU WANT OR NOT? You’ll have to decide for your own future on that.
